The State Library of South Australia has several catalogues on-line but has not digitized records to any extent.

--The Saville collection of 'The Advertizer' Funeral Notices 1971-2021
--Photographs of old colonists (male and female). 1872-1881. Mostly Anglo-Saxon colonists but you might find images of the old German colonists as well. Useful for fashions of this period.

The Polish in South Australia
--The Polish Hill River district is now celebrated for fine Reisling wine. Originally settled by Polish immigrants fleeing political persecution in the mid-1800's. They farmed small acreages. The small catholic church is still in use today and is treasured by the South Australian Polish community (most of whom arrived as WWII refugees.) Unfortunately there are no living descendants of those early Polish settlers.
